Stress can wreak havoc on our sleep, which in turn can cause even more stress. Fortunately simple breathing exercises can help lull you to sleep naturally. Have you heard of the breathing technique called "4-7-8?" It's supposed to put you to sleep in a minute. Basically what you do is breath in deep for 4 seconds, hold for 7 and breath out slowly for 8 seconds. Repeat until you fall asleep. So easy!

Mediating is like hitting the reset button on your day. Even just a few minutes of mediation a day can have some seriously awesome long-term results. The best part is you don't have to be a master yogi to mediate-- anyone can do it, and its a lot easier than you think! A common misconception about mediation is that your mind has to be completely clear for it to work, when really its just about taking a little time to breath and be in the moment.
